The Nature of Light - Paine Art Center and Gardens

The Nature of Light: An Exploration After Dark

August 8, 2022 to October 30, 2022

As the first nighttime exhibition at the Paine Art Center and Gardens, The Nature of Light: An Exploration After Dark features mesmerizing, illuminated sculptures within spectacularly lit environments. The exhibition encompasses the entire Paine estate, including inside the historic mansion and throughout its nearly 4 acres of gardens.

As a one-time-only exhibition, the display will be a collaboration between the internationally renowned sculptors HYBYCOZO and the acclaimed designer firm Lightswitch.

The Nature of Light: An Exploration After Dark is supported by Community First Credit Union, the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism.

Paine Members receive free admission to preview nights in August and discounted admission in September and October.
