Safety Guidelines for Visiting During Nutcracker in the Castle
To help ensure the safety of our staff and visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, please adhere to the following guidelines when you visit.
Reservations are required for all visits to the Paine Art Center and Gardens, including Nutcracker in the Castle. Group sizes are limited to 9 people or less.
Face Masks and Coverings
We request that visitors wear face masks/coverings while inside the mansion. (Children ages 2 and under do not need to wear a face mask.) Please plan to bring your face covering with you. Face coverings will not be provided.
Please arrive as close to your reservation time as possible to avoid congestion at the mansion entrance. Guests arriving early will need to wait outdoors, as the Paine does not have enough lobby space to allow for social distancing.
We ask all visitors to use hand sanitizer when entering the mansion and again before touching handrails and other surfaces.
We ask visitors to stay together with your group and maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet from staff and other visitors.
Please be aware that drinking fountains at the Paine are out of service. If you need drinking water during your visit, please bring bottled water with you. Beverages other than water are not allowed in the mansion.
Visitor seating inside the mansion is limited. The available seating will be routinely disinfected.
Length of Visit
Please plan to spend approximately an hour or less inside the mansion to ensure maximum capacity of the building is not exceeded.
Illness or Exposure
If you or someone in your household are not feeling well, please wait to visit the Paine until you and everyone in your household are feeling better. If you have reason to believe you have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, please plan to visit after a 14-day isolation period.
Public Health Recommendations
We encourage you to follow current public health recommendations as they may apply to you and your visit to the Paine.
If you have questions about your visit, please call the Paine during museum hours at (920) 235-6903 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be happy to assist you.
