Leprechauns

March 14, 2015

11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Family Discovery Gallery

In Irish folklore leprechauns were little shoemakers who hid their gold in pots at the end of a rainbow. They also played tricks on humans but were seldom seen. You can see your own wee mischief maker take shape using special clay with a little construction help from Jessica Kelly-Paul. Of course your miniature green man will have some gold of his own to hide and hopefully he won’t decide to play tricks on you!

Family Programs are offered on Saturdays in the Family Discovery Gallery on a drop-in basis from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The programs are geared for children ages 5-12. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is required. Programs are free with admission to the Paine (free for Paine Members and Big Brothers Big Sisters participants).
