The early evening hours are an especially nice time to enjoy the gardens, and the Paine welcomes members, neighbors and community members to visit for free. The gardens will be open in the evening the last Tuesday of each summer month from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, June through August.

Curator of Horticulture, Sheila Glaske, and area Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions, offer suggestions, and provide insight into this year’s summer garden showcase. The Paine’s gardens feature a spectacular showcase of tens of thousands of annuals throughout twenty different garden “galleries.” From traditional to trendsetting, the breathtaking designs are an ongoing source of inspiration and enjoyment. As well, over sixty containers with dramatic arrangements of plants serve as striking focal points and accents throughout the many garden areas.

Each evening, the Paine will provide numerous offerings for visitors who wish to participate. A complete schedule is listed below, and all activities are free. Participants in the yoga class are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or blanket as well as an additional blanket to use as a prop during the exercises. The rain site for the free yoga class is at Inner Sun Yoga Studio at 146 Algoma Blvd., suite F. Visitors for the drop-in docent led tours of the gardens should meet at the front of the mansion. Tours are ongoing from 6:00 to 7:00 pm each evening.
