Last Tuesdays in the Gardens
Enjoy a Stroll at Twilight
June 24, July 29, August 26
4:00 to 7:00 pm

The early evening hours are an especially nice time to enjoy the gardens, and the Paine welcomes members, neighbors and community members to visit for free. The gardens will be open in the evening the last Tuesday of each summer month from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, June through August.

Curator of Horticulture, Sheila Glaske, and area Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions, offer suggestions, and provide insight into this year’s summer garden showcase.

This season, the Paine’s gardens are inspired by the Impressionism exhibition indoors, and include a spectacular showcase of tens of thousands of annuals throughout twenty different garden “galleries.” The Paine’s gardens feature a spectrum of flowers and foliage in colors and textures that evoke the palette and qualities of the artworks. As well, over sixty containers with dramatic arrangements of plants - practically artworks themselves – serve as striking focal points and accents throughout the many garden designs.

And, at 6:30 pm Inner Sun Yoga Studio will lead a free yoga class in the Paine’s Ceremony Garden. All are invited to come and experience the serene beauty of the gardens. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or blanket as well as an additional blanket to use as a prop during the exercises.
