Festival of Spring is a free outdoor festival featuring the Paine’s annual Spring Plant Sale and more than 200 vendors of original art, fine crafts, plants and garden supplies. Visit the Corner Flea Market located at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Congress Street, and also enjoy great food and entertainment throughout the day. Tour the Paine’s spring garden showcase featuring more than 10,000 blooming spring wildflowers, tulips, daffodils and flowering trees.
Kick off the garden season at the Paine’s annual Spring Plant Sale widely recognized by gardening enthusiasts and master gardeners for its unique selection of rare and unusual plants. Choose from new 2012 varieties of shrubs, perennials and annuals including the “Perennial Plant of the Year” as well as a wide selection of unusual herbs and wildflowers.
Mingle with the Paine’s friendly staff and volunteers who are eager to offer recommendations and answer your questions. With more than 200 vendors of garden supplies, original art and crafts, it is a festival not to be missed, so plan on attending the Paine’s annual Festival of Spring on Saturday, May 19.
