Curious about what your body may be telling you? Kari Uselman, PhD, Nationally Certified Biofeedback Specialist, Holistic Wellness Practitioner and Annah Pelot, BS, Holistic Nutritionist, Community & Medical Dietetics, will present on Biological Decoding. The Biology of Decoding offers a practical, holistic and therapeutic way to bring health and wellness back into one's physical and emotional experience. The physical manifestation of disease is not random, but part of a survival program set in motion by the brain. When unmanaged stress or a sudden traumatic event happens and is not resolved, the brain creates a solution by putting it into our biology. Once identified, it can be reframed and the body can repair and heal from the inside out.
This program will be held in the Paine’s Conservatory and last approximately an hour. The program fee is $10. Paine Members and YMCA Members are invited to attend for free! All participants must register.
During the month of February the Paine is offering a series of programs about wellness of mind, body and spirit. Presented in partnership with the Oshkosh Community YMCA, the offerings introduce and explore traditional and non-traditional ways of becoming healthier and happier. Activities and topics include yoga, fitness, nutrition, creativity and more.
