John James Audubon: An Introduction to His Life and the Various Collectible Editions of His Work

Join us for a public lecture by special guest Joel Oppenheimer, one of the world’s foremost experts on John James Audubon. Mr. Oppenheimer will share his insights on Audubon’s artworks and the various published editions of his ornithological masterpiece The Birds of America. For more than 45 years, Mr. Oppenheimer has dedicated his career to natural history art as the president of Joel Oppenheimer, Inc., a distinguished gallery in Chicago’s Wrigley Building.

This program is held in the Conservatory, located at the back of the Paine property along Congress Avenue. Program is free with paid admission to the Paine (free for Members). No reservation necessary.
